About Me

Hi! I’m Jessica Taylor, glass artist behind Twist of Pane Glassworks.  I was born and raised in Prince George and I’m proud to call this community home.  It’s an honour and a privilege to live, work and create on the beautiful unceded ancestral lands of the L’heldli T’enneh.

I grew up in a commercial glass shop.  My grandfather, father, uncles and cousin are all glaziers.  However, I didn’t discover stained glass until later in life.  I was interested in the craft, being a fairly analytical person without much art in my life I decided to take a class. I was instantly hooked and developed a bit of an obsession. More classes, dozens of bandaids and a couple years later I’ve made hundreds of pieces, including small suncatchers, 3D pieces, larger panels and even leaded windows using traditional methods. I've recently acquired my first kiln and am venturing into fused glass as well!

Making meaningful custom artwork for clients is an absolute favorite of mine.  Whether its fun, dark and twisty, a memorial piece, or something beautiful to enhance your space, stained glass is a unique medium that can bring beauty, joy and even humour depending on the application. I look forward to discussing your ideas!

Thanks for stopping by 😊

With gratitude, Jessica
